Je passe vraisemblablement trop de temps connectée (et ça ne s'arrangera pas une fois que j'aurai mon GSM équipé de la 3G. aha). Je remercie la météo, Google reader, mon incapacité à conduire, et ma responsable de stage qui a pris des vacances et m'a donc obligée à retourner chez papa-maman.
D'un côté, je tombe sur des choses vraiment chouettes.
Via le site de Paul Smith, j'ai découvert l'artiste autodidacte Rikkianne Van Kirk qui utilise des supports "qui ont une histoire". Elle dessine sur des pages de journaux intimes d'un autre temps.

The 'You Sentimental Idiot' project is an endeavour inspired by found materials that have a past. Antique diaries are the main medium, Rikkianne inherited her first diary from her Great Aunt and the rest were found in antique shops. Rikkianne is a collector as well as a lover of folk art and all things with a history. She hopes to make the diary's aged pages and forgotten words current with her illustrations. Some drawings are inspired by direct quotes from the diaries while others are what the artist imagines the writer would have seen.
